We are looking for a dynamic QA Automation Engineer, eager to deliver high quality SaaS based products. As a member of the Product Development team at Askuity, you will help design and execute test strategies to ensure delivery of high-quality software that has a meaningful and immediate impact on our growing customer base.


  • Working closely with Product Management and Development to understand new product and technical requirements
  • Designing and executing effective test plans to ensure consistent high-quality product delivery
  • Effectively communicating product quality issues, and collaborating with Development to accelerate issue resolution
  • Performing ad-hoc testing for quick fixes and priority deployments
  • Development and maintenance of our test automation suite

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of QA automation experience
  • Experience developing automation frameworks for Web based applications using tools such as Protractor and Selenium
  • Hands-on experience in creating test scripts in one of Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Java Script language
  • Worked as a part of an Agile team and participated in agile ceremonies like stand-ups, refinement, planning, and retrospective meetings
  • Strong understanding of QA concepts and testing best practices
  • Ability to estimate story points and write well-formed test cases based on acceptance criteria
  • Experience identifying test data requirements
  • Knowledge of Test Management tools like Test Rail, HP ALM etc.
  • Ability to report and track defects in JIRA or a similar tool
  • Worked on testing mobile applications and devising test plans for the same
  • Hands-on experience with Distributed version control systems such as GIT and Bitbucket
  • Strong understanding of DB testing concepts
  • Experience with mobile automation using Appium or similar tools
  • Strong independent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven, motivated, and enthusiastic team player

Nice to Have:

  • ISTQB certification.
  • Experience with API automation using tools like JMeter, Postman
  • Exposure AWS Athena and Google GCP
  • Knowledge of CI/CD principles, CI tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket pipeline
  • Knowledge of the retail domain
  • Experience testing a product based on AI/ML
  • Understanding of
    • Microservices Architecture
    • Angular framework
    • Ionic framework
