Project Coordinator

Askuity is a Toronto-based retail analytics software company operating as an innovative new division within The Home Depot. Askuity’s mission is to enable suppliers and merchants at The Home Depot to make profitable, data-driven decisions and drive real-time execution.

As a Project Coordinator, you will work with team members across the whole company. You are a problem solver who thrives making sense of ambiguity, adapts and reacts quickly to change. You will be responsible for maintaining many aspects of the project plan, holding others accountable and ensuring that the requirements of all teams are met. You will participate in the execution of projects, share information and manage cross-functional dependencies.



  • Assist with the creation of project management plans; track status updates for tasks and maintain project schedule; perform project tasks as required
  • Coordinate meetings (phone/email/onsite) with stakeholders; document status updates, decisions, changes and impacts; Communicate risks associated with scope changes
  • Communicate project/task statuses to stakeholders; evaluate impact, risks and suggest recommendations
  • Share knowledge and information across the organization on projects & processes; provide ad-hoc reports or documentation to stakeholders
  • Participate in project retrospectives, capture lessons learned and evaluate project success; support change management initiatives as a result of new or modified processes
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of portfolios & programs; assist with the rollout and adoption of new tools across the organization
  • Support other tasks as requested


Preferred Experience

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree/diploma program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job is required
  • Experience in project management or operations; proven experience implementing and supporting process changes
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills are essential; Ability to manage a diverse workload, track and monitor multiple work activities
  • Ability to work independently or with various teams; self-motivated and promotes a positive work environment
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, Project Online, JIRA/Confluence, Salesforce an asset
  • A desire to learn and an openness to receiving and providing feedback
