Marketing Cloud Specialist

Askuity is a Toronto-based retail analytics software company operating as an innovative new division within The Home Depot (THD). Askuity’s mission is to enable suppliers and merchants at The Home Depot to make profitable, data-driven decisions and drive real-time execution.

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist will lead the implementation and optimization of Marketing Cloud for the Supplier Analytics Program. In this role, you will partner with multiple teams to ensure that we have defined the appropriate triggers for journeys and automated emails. You will manage multiple projects at once and make strategic recommendations based on insights gleaned from platform usage and email responses.


Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of Marketing Cloud, partnering with the Service Cloud team to ensure that data is connected appropriately
  • Configure, build, and test journeys or automations based on proposed designs
  • Run the daily activities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, which includes any configurations, investigations or data requests that must occur
  • Work with colleagues in Community Enablement to develop content, including best-in-class marketing campaigns, segmented communications, and other messages that drive awareness and usage of the tools in the Supplier Analytics Program
  • Implement projects aimed at driving supplier engagement by tracking usage, investigating segment behaviour, streamlining communication, and leveraging automation
  • Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, communicating project timelines, scope, potential risks, and status
  • Maintain a high-level understanding of business process and drivers which may inform email triggers
  • Develop standards, methodologies, processes, and procedures that are required to establish an efficient, predictable and repeatable operation



  • Highly proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (2-4 years of experience), with a clear understanding of Marketing Cloud’s potential and the ability to lead trouble-shooting initiatives
  • Analytical, yet customer-focused – valuing the customer’s experience from an analytical lens: campaign performance, marketing automation, platform usage, A/B testing, CRM, trigger campaigns, optimization, among others
  • A great communicator, able to explain how your strategy and insights are directly linked to customer behavior
  • Able to work cross-functionally with multiple departments: e.g. Salesforce Service Cloud team, Supplier Success, Support, Supplier Analytics
  • A creative thinker – able to apply out-of-the box strategies to our unique implementation of Marketing Cloud
  • A leader, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
