Askuity is growing quickly. We have some big brands to back us up, but we’re not even close to our full potential. What does that mean for you? In managing the full sales cycle, you’ll be expected to work with brands selling into major retailers across a number of verticals in North America. You are able to understand the challenges your prospects face and present the business value of Askuity to them. You love learning, contributing, and you’re not afraid of failure.

Responsibilities Include:

Managing a complex sales cycle. You’ll be responsible for initial prospecting of your target accounts (educating your target accounts with our top-notch marketing content) all the way to managing an ongoing pipeline. Expect to navigate enterprise level organizations with many moving pieces to the sales cycle.

Pain mapping. Keeping abreast of retail industry knowledge is key, but being well versed in discovery is an absolute necessity. There are a number of complexities in the world of retail, so it’s important that you understand your prospects better than anyone. You have thought provoking conversations and you continuously offer broader perspective of what’s happening in the retail space.

Demo. You utilize what you learned during Discovery to provide relevant examples during your demos, rather than following your favourite script. You know how to tie $$ to these focus areas.

Leading the Sale. Askuity’s most successful account directors are able to lead their prospect through each stage of the sales cycle. They understand the various motivations within group based decision making and are able to present a clear ROI to executive stakeholders. Success in this role will come from being a valued partner to your prospects who knows their business, understands their timelines and helps guide them on the path to becoming a valued customer.

Staying organized. Managing your pipeline in addition to continuous prospecting isn’t an easy task. Askuity ADs manage complexities in their sales cycles. You will continuously update deal sizes, close dates, sales cycle stages, contact roles and detailed notes in a Salesforce.

• Post secondary degree. MBA is a plus.

• 2 – 5 years of previous solution sales experience (SaaS or CPG considered a plus).

• Cold calling and outbound email experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• OTE ranges from $80,000-125,000 depending on your experience (base salary + commission).
