We are looking for an intelligent and process driven professional to join our growing Business Development team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for contacting and building relationships with brands that sell into major retailers across a number of industry verticals, including: home improvement, health & beauty, sporting goods and consumer electronics. Your goal is to identify organizations that are potential customers of Askuity and bring them into the sales process.

An ideal candidate will see this role as an entry point for a career in sales, marketing, product development or customer service. You will be motivated to learn from an experienced team, to contribute to multiple facets of a growing business and play a critical role in executing Askuity’s vision of being the leading sales enablement platform.

 

Responsibilities 

• Contact 100+ retail industry sales executives per day by phone, email, Linkedin etc.

• Build and maintain a network of prospective customers

• Contribute to the organization’s technical, industry and market knowledge

 

Qualifications 

• Undergraduate degree

• 0-2 years of full-time work experience (recent graduates welcome)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Previous experience in a customer facing or retail environment is a plus
